Battle 1: The Grocery Bag

Mom has a bag with a Watermelon and a bag with Popcorn. Which bag will make her arm feel tired? The Watermelon! Because it is Heavy and the popcorn is Light.

Battle 2: Thirsty Plants

You have a watering can. When it is Full of water, it feels heavy. When the water is all gone and the can is Empty, it feels very light and easy to carry!

🏡 Level 4: Home Quests

Quest 1: The Kitchen Scale Hands

Hold an apple in your left hand and a spoon in your right hand. Close your eyes. Which hand feels like it’s being pulled down? Draw a picture of the Heavier object.

Quest 2: Cup Explorer

Take 3 identical clear plastic cups. Fill one Full, leave one Empty, and fill one Half-way. Show your parents which one has the most water!

Magic Solution: An elephant is much larger and weighs more than a tiny mouse!

Magic Solution: A football has more material and air pressure, making it heavier than a balloon.

8. MODERATE To fill a big bathtub, you need:

Magic Solution: A bathtub has a large capacity, so it needs a lot of water!

9. COMPLEX If Scale A has 2 apples and Scale B has 5 apples, which scale side goes DOWN?

Magic Solution: 5 apples are heavier than 2 apples, so they pull the scale down!

10. COMPLEX Why does a full bottle of water feel Heavier than an empty one?

Magic Solution: Water is matter and it has weight. When you add it to the bottle, the total weight increases!
